biometric authentication security. Whatsapp has enabled a new Face ID
authentication option for iphones that Support
the features .
To enable face
id on whatsapp, tap Settingà Accountàprivacyàscreen lock and toggle on the require face id switch. Users
with a fingerprint sensing home button on their iphones will see an option to enable
Touch ID Instead
With this update iOS users will now be able to lock
their whatsapp chats and use their fingerprint or facial recognition to open
the Application. Users will be able to set a time limit of how soon
whatsapp chats are locked immediately one minute after , 15 minutes after or an
hour
